Custom Gear Knobs

After a lot of requests, I've decided to take on orders for custom gear knobs. Everything is made to order and machined right here in Australia. You have the choice of any material, as long as I can source it, and all you need to do is send me a sketch with dimensions. Once everything is confirmed I'll then send you a quote and we can go from there.

I'll also try to keep stock of some of my own designs.

Examples of customer gear knobs can be found here:

Some useful info for me:

  • length
  • width
  • radius of any curves
  • angles if you have any
  • thread type and depth of the thread
  • desire material
  • weighted or non-weighted

The image below shows some examples of my designs and the dimensions that are required, click on it to zoom in.

My fancy AutoCAD drawing. But you don't need to do that for me, just a hand sketch or Microsoft Paint is more then adequate.

Below are some photos of my own designs, which I'll make available soon too.

This is the lathe that'll be used as well as CNC lathe (not pictured).

  1. I’ll do an Auto CAD design just for you haha

  2. do it man! need more designs to post up 😀

  3. No it’s my design! Haha maybe

  4. What’s the weight of the GT Style you’ve got pictured (CAD diagram)?

  5. Hey Chris,

Unsure of the weight as I don’t keep stock of these, they were just example drawings and all custom knobs are made to order. It wouldn’t weight a lot though, but can be made with a big brass insert to give it weight.

    John.
